"a true geek is sufficiently addicted to pure technology that Business is far more likely to be a boring necessary component of keeping them supplied with toys to play with"... - unknown source [extracted from irc.freenode.net ##FreeBSD][Day to Day] [Comments(0)] [Permalink]
My blog of spontaneous combustible spew - land where drunk cows swim and home to my daily hand...
My education is in Computer Network Technologies. I use my free thought, when any thoughts are present, to write and produce content in a wide spectrum format flow. One day I may explain a method for accomplishing a task on a BSD operating system, or spewing about my latest Sandalwood acquisition, and other times I will keep my thoughts I put to the screen more personal and opinionated with my current gush of text in relation to my tempered mood.

Where do all these punk squirrels think they belong? You may be running, walking, riding a bike and they will not budge a nut unless you are centimeters from making pending road kill.
The life expectancy of a city squirrel is only a couple of years, 3 or 4 at the most. I often wonder if they drink motor fluid some what similiar to how we enjoy wine or beer. It's the city life alright - so that being true, look where your going bumb!

Oh guardian, that which sits on my desk
Whispered be this plea,
As my hard drive rattles, my DVDs fail,
on this laptop as it has on others.
Give us this day five more minutes,
As we backup our data
and curse those who did not back it up for us.
Led us not to Apple,
but deliver us from Microsoft.
For thine is the Ctrl, the Alt, and the Delete,
the three fingered salute,
END

Random Thought : I have been struggling with an old faithful box here, touching every which part trying to get this thing going. It turns out a pin on the CDROM IDE interface was gone. I was reminded of the above.

After doing a makeover on this hosts routing table, SQL queries seem to have doubled in efficiency, also thanks to Lifetype 1.2.9 which added some performance enhancing code additions.
The web server uses Lighttpd (Lighty) on an Ubuntu Server installation and the MySQL back-end is on a FreeBSD host. Enjoy!
