It is absolutely beautiful here in Madison, WI.  I went for a well needed hike this morning heading down the capital state trail, on back to Olbrich Gardens, and down by Glass Nickel Pizza for the trip back home.

The ducks are back and almost in full swing - whatever ducks do in full swing.  At Olbrich park there were a couple kids playing with kites.  I also managed to get a shot of an intriguing statue north of the park.  I never noticed it before.

As usual the trail people, as I like to call them, were cheerful and friendly.  This time of year brings out the best in all.  Thank god spring is coming!
