Dan Capps

14 August, 2006 13:10

I had a talk with Dan Capps about his display at the Olbrich Gardens. He had various butterfly displays and other insects which I can not remember the classification of at this time (we are a lively world, yes).

It was a pleasure meeting him and sharing some interesting facts about nature, in all parts of this world.

Although we did not chat long, I learned two things: he is a very down to earth individual with a friendly charm that probably has no hinder to make friends with, and he hold the guiness world record for spitting a cricket 32' and 1/2".

Yes, that is thirty two feet and one half inches. I have a hard enough time throwing a rock 32 feet, much less a cricket from my mouth.

Random Thought : If only their were happiness insurance.. I imagine however that it would be pricey, and the deductible insane... Someone suggested a savings account, but I would rather be insured happiness...
