community Thanksgiving dinner at the La Crosse Civic Center

23 November, 2007 11:57

The Civic Center where I live holds a Thanksgiving dinner for the community.  All are welcomed, the rich, the poor, and their families.  I headed down there and ate some delicious turkey and all the trimmings.  I was overwhelmed when I realized that I would be waded on, instead of a line order.  It is a wonderful community get together, and one more reason the area in which I live is one of the most caring and beautiful cities in this country.
