back home on the 4th

08 July, 2006 09:14

I had a wonderful 4th of July. I was able to spend some long due time with family and friends and take in the familiarity of my home town.

As always, La Crosse was very busy. However, surprisingly the energy has died a bit in the past few years. It was a comfortable change of pace for myself, since I am not much of a crowd person.

The fireworks were a sight to see, as always. I purchased a digital camera (Kodak P850) and managed to get a couple shots. I headed down there with Chad - he is a blast to hang out with. We enjoyed a pitcher, a couple smokes, and some wonderful night sky excitement. The night was absolutely beautiful and exceptionally clear for the fireworks.

Now that I have a couple new brothers and sisters, a niece and their friends, I was able to spend some time and get to know them a little better.

Good times, good times...

Good deal! It is an absolute joy to use. Knowing you have the same one, I feel comfortable with the purchase. Your photos are incredible!
