Atwood Neighborhood

30 July, 2006 07:01

Yesterday was a good day indeed. The Atwood Neighborhood festival was in full swing with music, beer, arts and crafts. I headed down there yesterday morning and chilled out a bit before the music started - browsing crafts and the various vendors of food.

There were two band stages and I bounced back from one to the other. I gave Chad a call and we met at my house and headed back down to the grounds. The festival is only four blocks from where I live.

We soon parted and headed to AJ's house, whom I was just introduced too. We enjoyed a couple beers and I took the opportunity to take a few shots of his garden.

I was planning on going to a Raggae party last night, but between the heat and thick beer, I was drained.

I really did get a good feel of Madison. Everyone I met and talked to were nice and caring. Good time and good feeling indeed.
